The Neepawa Titans are proud to announce that captain Cody Gudnason has committed to Niagara University, for the 2024-25 season. The Purple Eagles are an ACHA Division 1 program based in Niagara, NY that compete in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). Gudnason, from Killarney Manitoba, joined the Titans in 2020 and played in 155 regular season games for the Titans where he amassed thirty-one goals along with forty-seven assists. Gudnason had this to say about playing in Neepawa, “I am forever thankful for the 4 years I have spent in Neepawa. I would like to thank my family, all my past and present teammates, the entire coaching staff, and most importantly my amazing billet family for allowing me to grow as a player and a person on and off the ice. With that being said, I am extremely excited to begin the next chapter of my life at the University of Niagara.” Titans Head Coach/GM Ken Pearson had this to say about Gudnason, “we are extremely happy and excited for Cody. He has made huge strides on and off the ice and has played a key role in our recent success as an organization.” The entire organization would like to congratulate Cody and wish him all the best in Niagara.
